Banana + PB + Choc Soft Serve

There’s never enough ice cream. In a cup, in a cone, in a pint. Our taste tester is the ultimate ice cream connoisseur, and can consume an admirable amount in a single sitting. So when our freezer was ice cream-less one night this summer and I presented him with a bowl of this “soft serve,” I braced myself for an angry tirade about how it doesn’t even compare to the real deal. But alas, he ate it. And dare I say, he wanted more! You can substitute (or remove) the PB + cocoa powder, use frozen berries instead of banana, or add some avocado for extra creaminess. It might take a few trial runs to get the consistency right, but give it a whirl and let us know what you think!


1 frozen banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 tsp cocoa powder
Splash of milk (to help blend the mixture – go easy here or you’ll end up with soup!)

Add ingredients to a blender
Blend on high
